I'd stopped taking pictures of models, as I had no time, and was occupying my photographic sense with essentially family snapshots of my then-girlfriend and her kids. Since then, the relationship died, I upgraded cameras twice, partnered with a talent agency for a few months and got used to studio shooting, bought pro lighting, gave up the partnership, continued shooting models, shot three or four weddings, did some pet and pregnancy photography, had two new jobs in my day-job-workplace, and spent over a year fruitlessly looking for that perfect studio building to purchase. Why not? Because I've slipped out of the habit of uploading my pictures. It's a horrible admission. One drawn in part because I liked uploading from work, but they withdrew unhindered net access a few months ago. Sigh. The other part is just a general transfer of energy in other directions.
