YMCA Soccer 5-15-04

La mottled skye

Down to the field

Ann strapping the shin guards on

Stretching

Play begins

Jack takes a time out

...with my sunglasses

But he gets back in

He's a little behind the pack

No, I won't stop!

Break time again

I like this girl

Henry whispers the secrets of soccer

Ann watches, Jack poses

Jack can, in fact, kick

Pre-game enthusiasm

Practicing the walk

But look at his posture!

Like younger brother, like elder brother

I'm not sure the coach knows if they won

Jackie, and then Henry, played soccer last Saturday. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It was the only time I've seen them play soccer so I'll stick with the best of times.
